Dr. Shiro SAKATA
graduated from Waseda University in 1974. He joined NEC Corporation in 1974 and he has been engaged in the research and development on the Internet, computer network architecture, multimedia communication, mobile computing, etc. in NEC laboratories. He acted as Board member for DAVIC (Digital Audio and VIdeo Council) 1996-1999. He was General Manager, Internet System labs. 1998-2003.
