Introduction
On Wednesday 12 January 2011, ITU-T’s secretariat, TSB, welcomed a group of final year MBA students and two professors from the US Thunderbird School of Global Management, Glendale, AZ.
A seminar was organized covering the following topics:
- ITU-T Overview and initiatives to involve Academia in the standardization process
- Why and how do Corporations invest in standards development
- Intellectual Property issues
- ITU-T’s activities on ICTs and Climate Change
- ITU-T Technology Watch
- Career options for graduates in international organizations
Objective
- Familiarize university students with ITU-T activities.
