Jules Verne’s Corner
“Make possible the impossible”
(14 December 2010 14:00-15:30)
The Jules Verne's Corner is a special session of the ITU Kaleidoscope academic conference "Beyond the Internet? − Innovations for future networks and services", which will be held on 14 December 2010, 14h00 – 15h30.
It is a self-defining session dedicated to the views of extremely advanced minds, able to think of 50 years and beyond as Jules Verne himself did in his literature. This is a place for visionaries, science fiction writers, journalists, movie directors and anybody else who is able to
imagine an unpredictable future, putting forward inspiring, revolutionary ideas. The objective is to share thoughts that might help develop communication concepts to
make possible the impossible during the second half of the XXI century.
Considering its special purpose, the Jules Verne’s Corner is structured as a sort of panel/talk show, with short presentations and expression of opinions from invited experts able to stimulate an open discussion with the audience.
Any enquiries and proposals for topics/ideas are welcome and can be addressed to
kaleidoscope@itu.int.
The Jules Verne's Corner is included in the Kaleidoscope conference programme, which is available
here.
