Mohammad Shah Alam, (Waseda University, Japan)
Mohammad Shah Alam received the B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Engineering
from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh in 2001.
He completed M.Sc. from GITS, Waseda University in 2006. He is currently working
towards his PhD degree at the same university. His research interests include infrared
communications, optical networks, QoS, performance evaluation and wireless sensor networks.

Mostafa Safavi Hemami, (Amirkabir Univ., Iran)
He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees both in electrical engineering in 1976 and 1997,
respectively from Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee, USA. He obtained his
Ph.D. degree in Information Technology (Communication) from George Mason University in
Virginia, USA in 1993. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Amirkabir University
in Tehran, Iran, where he teaches High Speed Networks, Satellite Communication, and
Queuing Theory for Communication Systems among other courses.

Hiroki Endo, University of Tokyo, Japan
Hiroki Endo is a postgraduate student at the University of Tokyo, Japan. He received B.E.
degree in Information and Communication Engineering from the University of Tokyo in 2006.
He is engaged in the research on the security for protecting confidential information in mobile handsets.

Ye Kyaw Thu, (GITS, Waseda University)
Ye Kyaw Thu received his B.Sc. degree in Physics from Dagon University, Myanmar in 2000.
He began his career with KMD Company Ltd., Myanmar, working as programmer. He then received his
M.Sc. degree in Global Information and Telecommunication Studies at the Graduate School of Global
Information and Telecommunication Studies (GITS), Waseda University, Japan in 2006, and is
currently pursuing a doctor�fs degree there. His research has concerned on the Human Computer
Interface and Human Computer Interaction. He has been working to find efficient and user-friendly
text input methods for syllabic based Asian languages such as Myanmar, Khmer and Bangla etc.
