13-16 July 2009 is the 14th time that the world’s leading telecommunications and radio standards organizations meet to promote innovation and collaboration on a broad spectrum of standards topics - and the first time that ITU is host to this event. Some hundred participants from Participating Standards Organizations (PSO) and ITU attend, along with observers from additional groups.

Guidelines for Chairmen, Leaders of High Interest Subjects, presenters and participants

These guidelines are being provided in preparation for the meetings and are intended to serve as a guide for the leadership, Prime PSO (PPSO), presenters and participants. Please review this information in preparation for presentations or submissions to GSC-14.

Social Events

Welcome Reception (cocktail reception in Montbrillant cafeteria, Monday 13 July 2009, 18h00. Business casual, i.e., no tie required)
Cruise on Lake Geneva (Wednesday Evening, 15 July 2009)

  Savoie Boat leaves 18h50 sharp
- Boat route and map (paper copy will be provided)
- The Savoie Boat is one of the old paddle steam boats of the CGN. It was built in 1914 and carries up to 560 passengers. The boat is 68 meters long and 14.3 meters wide. Please find attached a picture of it and its Specifications sheet.
- Dinner by a first-class chef, served on the boat. Business casual; bring a sweater or jacket.
