Session 1 - Challenges related to Sustainable ICT Supply Chains
Sustainable supply chain is affecting companies’ business in conjunction with the usage of resources, the consumption of water and energy, and the generation of wastes and emissions. These matters are increasingly strategic for executives, employees and consumers, but bring along a number of challenges – including constant innovation, the realization that is an indefinite, long and complex process and that sustainability advances quickly become commoditized especially also in ICT, where products are replaced in very short times.
