Event Description This
workshop was organized in three sessions in order to analyze and
discuss NGN architecture and the investment involved in the
migration process. The workshop provided an opportunity to discuss
some of the regulatory challenges of migrating to NGN which are
currently being addressed by national regulatory authorities in
developed countries as well as changes to costing and pricing
methodologies and cost models for NGN services. The workshop
also offered an opportunity for operators in developed countries to
share their NGN plans with developing countries. Expert speakers
from European countries made presentations on their respective
approaches.
