and procedures to apply for a fellowship
Participants who wish to apply for fellowships must have
registered online and submitted the duly completed and
approved fellowship form by
17 December 2009.
Requests received after the deadline will be considered on
an "as possible" basis. |
Eligibility
Subject to the availability of funds, one full fellowship may be
granted to each administration of least developed countries (LDCs)
and to delegates from countries whose GDP per capita is less than
USD 2 000.
While the number of delegates from any country is not limited,
countries will bear the costs of any additional delegates.
Deadline and procedure
You are invited to submit your signed and
approved request for a fellowship no later than
17 December 2009. To receive the fellowship form,
you must first register online.
Upon acceptance of your registration, you will
automatically receive the electronic fellowship request form which
you are advised to complete, sign and have it
signed by the approving officer of your
administration who should stamp it with the official stamp of the
administration.

Air ticket and subsistence allowance
A full fellowship includes one return economy
class air ticket by the most direct/economical route from the
country of origin to Syria, as well as a daily allowance to cover
accommodation, meals and incidental expenses.
It is imperative that fellows be present from the first day to end
of the meeting and participate during the entire fellowship period.
