Description |
This pilot project will implement ICTs to replace the conventional system(s) of irrigation by developing a model/approach for aggregating, refining, customizing, and disseminating available data/information of the local groundwater resources in the newly reclaimed agricultural land: - in New Valley Governorate; - in South West of Egypt. This project will test this new model on both irrigation systems fueled by renewable and non-renewable energy sources to compare the results with the aim of insuring the new model's viability all pumps regardless of the energy source. In addition, the project will create a platform for the community to exchange knowledge.
