A wide range of vertical domains, such as manufacturing, retail, energy, transportation, and healthcare, rely on data generated by IoT devices. Managing millions of these devices as well as virtual resources effectively is essential to support the rapid expansion of smart IoT services. Affinity grouping facilitates intelligent management and flexible control over those resources. Artificial intelligence (AI) in IoT further advances affinity grouping by uncovering hidden relationships between the resources. The relational intelligence derived from the data affinity benefits management of network resources (e.g., software, hardware, etc.) by enhancing efficiency and scalability. The relational intelligence derived from data affinity streamlines decision-making processes and enhances the scalability of IoT services.
This draft Recommendation is to identify requirements and functional architecture for network resource management with affinity group, utilizing data-driven relational intelligence from AIoT environments.
