Summary: Low-carbon industry related data processing and management is crucial for reducing the carbon footprint of industrial activities. By collecting, processing, and analyzing data from various sources in industrial parks can gain valuable insights into energy use patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. However, industrial parks often face challenges related to fragmented data collection, inconsistent reporting, and insufficient integration of systems. The lack of standardized approaches for data processing and management has made it difficult for industrial parks to effectively manage and reduce their energy consumption and GHG emissions. This is where a comprehensive low-carbon industry related data processing and management standard becomes indispensable for low-carbon smart industrial park. This Recommendation is grounded in the urgent need for industrial sectors to decarbonize in order to meet global climate targets. By providing a structured, standardized approach to low-carbon industry related data processing and management, the Recommendation helps industrial parks optimize energy consumption, reduce their carbon footprints, and integrate new technologies.
