Smart livestock farming (SLF) is a convergence service where Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are applied into the livestock value chains.
Apart from ICT technology, for a more productive and sustainable production smart livestock it is highly required to integrate various domain-specific information; examples of such information include precision livestock farming, management information systems, stockbreeding, and transportation.
In order to integrate various domain-specific information, a well-defined data model is required. The well-defined data model can accelerate a number of new smart livestock related services as well as AI, data acquisition. Because it can facilitate automatization, interoperability and composability for the IoT applications and AI.
For this purpose, this draft Recommendation defines data entities required for smart livestock service, their relationship, and then it addresses conceptual data model of smart livestock farming service.
