Summary:
|
The integration of new-generation information technologies such as the fifth-generation mobile communication network (IMT-2020) technologies, AI, big data, and cloud computing has greatly facilitated the development of IoT applications. The applications involved in the IoT verticals place differentiated and dynamic requirements for IoT capabilities.
Application-aware service is a service to adapt IoT capabilities as appropriate based on the specific requirements of IoT applications applied in various scenarios. Application-aware service assists IoT in identifying the types, priorities and dynamic needs of applications, and dynamically adapting IoT capabilities in coordination with the network capabilities. At the same time, IoT applications can adjust their status according to the status of IoT resources. The service experience of IoT applications can be optimized through application-aware service.
This Recommendation specifies the requirements and capability framework of Internet of Things for support of application-aware service.
