As one of smart city platform, Real-time Event Monitoring and Integrated Management (EMM) platform connects various intelligent facilities equipped with IoT sensors, providing stakeholders with the necessary integrated information to make informed decisions and respond promptly to an event that may rise in a city. However, the EMM platform may encounter security threats especially potential security threats to its specific functions.
Accordingly, the security threats and security requirements of EMM platform need to be analysed to secure real-time event monitoring and integrated management in smart city platforms.
This recommendation describes the security threats and requirements of EMM, and provides security guidelines for the EMM platform.
