Summary:
|
Emerging technologies such as IMT-2020, cloud computing and artificial intelligence applied into the vertical field, device control service are further evolving towards cloud, evolving from the single-device processing to collaborative intelligent processing between multiple devices and networks. However, there are still some problems. The massive transmission of high frequency periodic device control communication packets with small size resulting in low utilization of network bandwidth resources and radio resources and delayed arrival of some data packets, which may be aggravated by the uncertainty of wireless channels.
To address the above issues, it is proposed to initiate a new work item on the QoS requirements and QoS assurance framework of deterministic communication for remote device control services. The scope of this recommendation includes overview, QoS requirements and framework.
