This draft Recommendation describes the requirements for smart maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure based on UAVs. The on-site maintenance of dumb resources (such as pipelines, optical fibers and other dumb resources) requires a large number of human participation. This makes it difficult to reach a high level of intelligence in the maintenance process, and also difficult to ensure the consistency and completeness of dumb resource information. It is important to introduce UAV into the patrol and maintenance of communications network equipment and lines. The goal of the draft is to specify the requirements of smart maintenance by using UAVs to inspect outdoor telecommunications infrastructure. This Recommendation covers the following aspects:
