Summary: Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) refers to realizing the synergy of communication and sensing by utilizing communication and sensing characteristics of wireless signals and sharing the same frequency band and hardware. ISAC enables environmental information sensing, high-precision positioning and tracking, gesture and movement recognition, etc., and can be used to enhance the ILE services for remote users. This draft Recommendation identifies the requirements and framework of immersive live experience (ILE) services using integrated sensing and communication. It aims to specify the target scenarios in which ISAC is used in ILE services such as remote operation scenarios, and remote assistance scenarios. It specifies the framework and requirements of ILE services using ISAC. The objective is to provide users with a highly interactive and practical immersive experience that is cost-effective and efficient.
