Summary:
|
Cloud-edge-device collaboration is a new computing architecture that has emerged with the rapid development of cloud computing and edge computing. This architecture enables cloud and edge servers to handle device data and complete tasks together, making efficient use of resources. It combines the advantages of both cloud computing and edge computing to meet the requirements of low latency, high throughput, high precision, and high energy efficiency simultaneously. However, due to the complexity of the system architecture, with multiple categories of equipment, various network connections, and functional and performance requirements, during the optimization, management, operation, and maintenance of the system, a lot of data is needed to detect, diagnose, and solve faults and problems. Therefore, the monitoring of cloud-edge-device collaboration system is essential, and monitoring parameters are needed. This new Recommendation aims to provide a comprehensive set of reference monitoring parameters, including the methods to get the parameters, for cloud-edge-device collaboration systems. This will facilitate the design, implementation, use, and maintenance of a reliable and stable cloud-edge-device collaboration system over the long term.
