Summary:
|
This draft recommendation focuses on the signalling architecture of satellite-based network for fixed, mobile and satellite convergence IMT-2020 networks and beyond. In the published recommendation of ITU-T Y.3201 "Fixed, mobile and satellite convergence – Framework for IMT-2020 networks and beyond", overall framework of fixed, mobile and satellite convergence has been defined. It is time to research on the signalling architecture of fixed, mobile and satellite convergence IMT-2020 networks and beyond. This proposed new work item will study the signalling network in detail, basing on the overcall framework from Y.3201, which will be a help in the development of standardization in FMSC.
This Recommendation specifies the signalling architecture of fixed, mobile and satellite convergence IMT-2020 networks and beyond, in the aspects of requirements, architecture, interfaces, and security considerations.
